Practice Philosophy
In his practice, Dr. Haeck stresses three areas with his patients: education, individuality and close supervision of patient care after surgery.
He feels his patients have an overall more positive experience once they have a thorough understanding of the anatomical and physiological relationships to their appearance. When this is explained, many patients have a more realistic idea of what can and cannot be changed by surgery. It is the responsibility of the surgeon to orient you to the pros and cons of the procedures you are considering. Dr. Haeck will take as much time as necessary to discuss each detail of the operation and explain why it is done in a particular way. Through this consultation, he can impart his experience and judgement to allow you to make an informed decision as to which operation is most suited to you, or whether or not you should even proceed with the surgery.
Each person has a unique physical appearance and self image, which is evaluated prior to surgery. Dr. Haeck wants you to take an active part with him in planning the operation according to your individual features. |
